Up for sale is my 1990 Honda Accord the only one in the U. K for sale and in this colour Red. The 4th generation Accord was the model to own in the early 90s. It has a bullet proof F22A3 engine which produces 140bhp to 150bhp naturally aspirated. It has a Limited feature of 4 wheel steering which was rare and stood out for easy parking and handling.
Other standard features included full colour coded Bumpers with headlamp washers, Boot Spoiler, Electric colour coded Heated wing mirrors, full Black Leather interior, Electric Drivers Seat, Electric sunroof, Electric Aerial retracts when boot is open, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Auto sports Box. Everything works!! as it should.
Aftermarket Clifford Alarm with multi siren tones. Remote Central Locking you do not have to use the keys to open the doors like most classic cars. 4 keys and 2 fobs.
It has a few modifications done and these include:
17 Borbet 6 spoke lookalike Alloys with honda centre caps. Good tyres and lots of tread left on them.
Powerflow Full Stainless Steel Exhaust not loud just simple smooth sound.
Drilled/ grooved front and rear discs.
Skunk2 Coilover Suspension which was bought from United states of America and fitted in the UK. They are adjustable and can go high or low set to your preference. In actual fact the ride quality is better than anticipated.
Engine Strut Brace for that better ride quality and handling.
HID Xenon conversion which is three times better than the normal halogen bulbs. It really gives an enhanced vision at night.
Sony Cassette stereo with a 10 disc CD changer in the boot. Also I have the Original Honda stereo to go with it. Upgraded all the door and rear parcel shelf speakers which are connected to an Amplifier. Excellent clear sound quality.
Front bonnet/ bumper black car bra Original Accord. Protects it from stone chips, dirt and grit, gives it different a look to the car.
The car has lots of paperwork and history including books of service stamps, and plenty of receipts. Previous owners used a private plate on the car and paper to confirm it. All windows of the car have original code numbers and registration number on them. The four wheel steering has no issues and the engine starts on the button every time. You can hardly hear the engine running and mechanically it is perfect. Automatic Gearbox is solid changes in all gears no leaks fluid in cherry colour and good level.
The Air con blows Ice cold Air works fine. The car has been dry stored and well looked after. The arches and sills are smooth dry and solid.
The car is nearly 28 years old and is not perfect like a new car. It will have minor blemishes and may show signs of wear age related so do not expect as if it has just rolled off the production line! but it is surprisingly in remarkable condition. You will definitely see people looking and appreciating the Accord..... I probably get as many looks as you would on a Ferrari passing by. There are not many left in this condition most of them now are parked up and rotted away. They have to be driven out on the roads to be appreciated. I do believe their are a few out there in similar condition as mine but only time will tell if you see another one. This is one of the decent honest and reliable car that I have owned and I will be sad to see it go. I have other commitments and few other vehicles with limited space. I am not in a hurry to sell my car but I would like it to go to a good home. This is an ideal investment and almost better than the property market at this current time.
