Descrizione
The most beautiful and expensive prewar - Mercedes 540 K Specialroadster had been produced only 29 times as 540 K. There are existing 3 – 4 different variants of the vehicle.
This car is a fully restored 540 K (as 1 of just 29 built) and was delivered in 1937 as a 2-door saloon version. The chassis with the axles were found in the late 1990s and have been restored by a German specialist company. The chassis was equipped with the long tall Specialroadster body to original specification using the version with the spare wheels in front. Should the buyer wish the spare wheels in trunk, this can be done without too much effort.
