Description
Low Mileage (98k Miles) Volvo 240 Grand Luxury Estate with full vinyl cream interior.
Long tax and MOT and good service history.
Two very small additions to the family has resulted in me being coerced into selling my much loved Volvo 240 Estate. Initially, I bought it as a workhorse to help in the renovation of our new home, however, I soon fell in love with it kept it as my everyday runaround. When I purchased it it had just 40k miles and had been dry stored in a garage by a widow for almost a decade!
The next owner was a gardener who used it primarily to run leaves and branches to the tip as his van wasn't permitted in! I had it extensively serviced when I first purchased the vehicle with Tony Barret at Braydon Classic Motors.
The Bad bits:
Engine management light has come on since last service.
The exterior has some dings and bumps allover (see images) but most serious is the lack of chrome bumper trim and corrosion on rear. It has however, been treated so no rust.
Broken handbrake console.
Boot lock has come loose and is no longer working. Part is rattling inside.
Hillclimb / overdrive light is permanently on but not affecting performance.
Can't think of anything else but please don't think of this as a new car. I am always paying for bits and bobs here at every service and whilst it has never let me down it is in no way perfect. Please study the images and call me should you want to know more about the car and its history.
Next MOT due 07/ 04/ 2019. - £2, 950
