The Flaminia Gran Turismo touring. Slender and smart in its styling: a car for long distance traveling, comfortable accommodation, this is the achievement of Touring Milan. The basic structure of the Flamina has enabled three world-famous coachbuilders to plan shorter bodies thus creating three special versions each showing its distinctive qualities, Pininfarina, Touring Milan, and Zagato.
The double headlamps are the dominant factory in the design of the body, and the particular shape of the top of the mudguard is repeated along the side of the car light to the tail lights. The curved windshield with very slim pillars and a very low bonnet allow the greatest visibility. Excellent accommodation on the bucket seats, the exceptional capacity of the luggage compartment and some additional room for the luggage inside the car.
Fast forward to 2018, as per the Lancia Classiche Certificato Di Origine, the Flamina is finished in its original color combination of Grigio Newmarket with rich Pelle Rossa hide. Subjected to a photographic nut and bolt restoration over a 3 year period by internationally renowned restorer 'Bart Holland' . The complete works pertaining to the restoration consisting of 4 encyclopedia folders, front start to finish of the works. In addition, there was a photographic record kept with a step by step as the works progressed from its bodywork, engine rebuild, and trim. Since arriving in the UK the car has been solely maintained regardless of expense by highly respected Emblem Sports Cars, simply staggering and truly world class.
