Description
CLASSIC CAR DESIGN offers you ...
... a princess Hotchkiss 486 Vichy of 1937.
This car of 1937 was restored a few years ago. Bodywork, interior and mechanics were renewed.
The black body, without being perfect, makes a beautiful impression. Inside the seats comfortably accommodate 4 passengers who can join 2 others on the folding seats. The dashboard still boasts the plaque of its first owner, Prince F. de Croye.
The engine, 4 cylinders and 86mm of bore as indicated by the name 486 used at the time by the French brand, works well and starts correctly. The 3 speed gearbox takes the car and its passengers peacefully.
The slogan once said that Hotchkiss was the mark of the "happy medium", provided she was also capable of performance since she was a winner by 6 times of the Monte-Carlo rally.
