Asquith retro 1930's style Taxi Wedding Car. A stunning addition to any wedding car fleet or great investment/ starter vehicle. I believe there was only ever 12 of these hand built 1930's-style taxi cabs ever built and even less were made with a drop down rear Landaulet roof which this one has. Making it very rare.

The car has been maintained and serviced by specialist mechanics on a regular basis to ensure it is in tip top running condition.. Both front and rear windows are electric and the rear windows can be operated both by the driver and passengers. Registered on 24th February 1995, the car boasts a 2496 cc Ford Transit diesel banana engine, automatic gears and power steering which gives the same tight turning circle as a modern day London black cabs. The airbag suspension system works perfectly and is operated from a switch inside the drivers cab. This system ensures absolute comfort for the driver and passengers on all road surfaces. The current mileage is 95k which is believed to be correct as we have lots of paperwork, invoices and MOTs going back over the years to 2005 and the mileage then was 81K !
The bodywork is all in excellent condition with the BLACK paintwork fully re-sprayed. Chrome spotlights and chrome front and rear bumpers. The wheels have recently been re-sprayed to match the white bodywork and all 4 tyres replaced. The drivers cab is separate to the passenger seating area with an occasional pull down seat. The rear seating is made from high quality soft dove grey leather with a soft pile carpet underfoot giving a sumptuous and comfortable feel for all passengers. The total passenger seating capacity is 6 with a 3 seat bench settee and 2 pull down seats facing the rear and 1 next to the driver. This car ticks ALL the boxes as a wedding car.
