I am pleased to offer this the rarest and most desirable of the Rover SD1 models, which is the Rover SD1 Vitesse Twin Plenum. This Vitesse is finished in Targa Red with Shark Grey sports trim and has only had 1 previous owner from new with full service history, the first owner was known by the previous owner and always wanted first refusal when he sold it so consequently snapped it up some 8 years ago. The Twin Plenum Vitesse was developed in 1985 with the help of Lotus to keep Rover touring cars competitive in the British and European championships. The major change to a standard Vitesse was the fitment of the twin throttle fuel injection plenum on 500 production cars to ensure that the car was homologated and able to compete. This car has to be one of the nicer ones out there for sale today, if you can find one ! The paint and body are both superb with excellent panel gaps and sharp lines. The interior again is superb, all the electrics are in working order including unusually the trip computer. All the tyres have plenty of life in them and all the alloys have just been refurbished, the only minor changes from standard factory fit is the steering wheel ( standard wheel is with the car ) and a sports rear silencer which makes the car sound even better if thats possible. There is a large history file with the car, along with all the original handbooks and service books plus two sets of key, a large selection of spares will come with the car .
