Revealed in December 2016 at the Sant'Agata factory before a full public launch at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The Avenatdor S is the latest in a long line of Lamborghini's to take up the iconic S model designation, following such icons like the Miura and Countach. The LP740-4 was much more than a midlife make over. Taking cues from the Aventador SV, the Aventador S has been given an exterior makeover and underneath it's chassis and drivetrain have been thoroughly re-engineered. Changes over the standard Aventador include the new front bumper and splitter, rear diffuser, rear wing, new exhaust that is 20% lighter than before and gives the far more enjoyment from the monstrous 6. 5 litre V12 engine, which now produces some 40 bhp more. This wonderful engine when paired with the extreme agility and handling of the all new 4 Wheel Steering system provides unprecedented driving dynamics.
This particular example was supplied new in March 2018 by Lamborghini Birmingham. Finished in the striking Blu Nila, the car has benefited from front end PPF. As such it has remained in exemplary cosmetic order. The stunning paintwork has been further enhanced thanks to the addition of extensive exterior carbon including the air intakes and rear wing. Dianthus forged alloys painted in gloss black finish the exterior. The interior of the car features Nero hide with Blu Amon contrasting details to perfectly tie it to the exterior.
