I have decided to sell my 1960 PA estate it's not been an easy choice to make due to the condition and rarity of the car I know i'll never find another like it but sadly can't keep them all, the car is a very well known example it has featured on Top Gear (look it up on Youtube), Practical classics also done a classic estate car feature on my estate, and more recently a Canadian news paper also done a feature so the old girls quite famous, in 1960 she was supplied new to a Cigarette company called Craven A, in 1968 she was purchased buy a chap in London, this guy covered the chrome etc in grease and parked the old girl in a garage where she sat untouched until 1985 when the garages were to be knocked down for property development, the car was then sold to the 3rd owner and the gentleman I bought her from in 2013, he had a cosmetic restoration carried out in 1985 and she still looks superb to this day, the car is structurally fantastic having had a very small amount of welding done to an excellent standard, still has all the original jacking points, floors, boot floor etc, the deep red interior is all original and in beautiful condition, genuine mileage of 46000 miles as you would expect the car runs and drives faultlessly I've done various Cresta club events in the car and on a couple of occasions I came home with a trophy, fitted with a matching set of new tyres (car is now fitted with original 13" wheels and hubcaps), 3 years ago a full brake rebuild also fitted with a stainless steel exhaust, the car was last mot'd in July 2018 and due to the excellent condition and looking after the car regularly servicing and greasing all moving parts yearly and covering such a low annual mileage I haven't worried about renewing the mot but I'm more than happy to mot it should the new keeper want it done, to sum it up this is one of the best examples of an extremely rare car only a handful of this model/ year in existence, always attracts a huge amount of attention, genuinely interested parties please contact me for more information i'm sure I've forgotten lots, I will welcome anybody to come and view the car as the photos don't do it justice, thank you.
