Descripción
I have owned this bike from new. First registered May 2007 with a good Ducati service history; 6 stamps in the book. (It had a three year period of dry storage whilst i was working abroad) I have a file of receipts and all the MOT certificates to verify the mileage of 15, 500. It was last serviced September 2018 when new belts were also fitted. This bike benefits from having the official Ducati sports pipes; a must if you want to experience the best mid range torque and wonderful sound of this old school, air cooled V twin(the originals are included in the price). The bike is in good overall condition having only ever seen summer use and always being garaged (it is currently on a SORN). The current MOT runs until September 2019 and the bike is fitted with a good set of Pirelli Rosso Corsa tyres. Sprockets, chain and brakes are all good.
Please DO NOT confuse this bike with the original Monoposto version; the monoshock styling of that bike was devisive but more importantly the ride comfort was terrible with low bars, heavy clutch and firm springing. The later Biposto addressed some of these issues with bar risers, wet clutch, a classic twin shock arrangement and removable seat cowl as standard but this bike also benefits from an oberon slave cylinder and hyperpro fork springs. I have toured on this bike on several occasions and enjoyed 300 mile days. The registration document cofirms me as the only owner and I have the original book pack including service book, two keys and the all important RED key. The price of £9795 is firm but it includes 6 digit 'classic' registration plate, paddock stand and FAMSA SBK tank bag(the only bag properly tailored to this model). According to - details above this bike is one of only 32 in the UK.
In summary this is a rare opportunity to purchase a good and well maintained, one owner example of this 'old school' classically styled Ducati.
