Rare opportunity to buy an appreciating modern British classic motorcycle.
The CCM 404DS was produced in limited numbers by the acclaimed Bolton company. It combined a Suzuki DR-Z400E engine with WP (KTM) suspension in a hand-built British chassis. As it stands, this is an excellent dual-sport (DS) trail bike, and could be converted to supermoto or hillclimb spec with a change of wheels and gearing.
It is fully road-legal, with enduro tyres, lights and indicators,
I purchased this bike from its first owner, an elderly gentleman, in 2008. He had purchased the bike new from Fowlers of Bristol, who were shown as the first keeper in the original V5.
It is in standard condition, with the original exhaust system and Acumen dash panel. The mileage is genuine. All factory graphics are present: even the running-in stickers. CCM handbook, Clymer engine manual and some useful spares included in sale. Maintained regardless of cost by present owner.
The following useful accessories are fitted: KTM handguards, Haines extended engine protection plate, Zen Overland engine armour kit.
There is some scuffing on the plastics from light greenlane use.
MoT test expires 15/ 07/ 29. I can retest if purchaser pays full asking price.
