Genuine brand new MG Midget / Austin-Healey Sprite Heritage Bodyshell (British Motor Heritage Limited). This has been in storage for many years and offers the new owner a rare chance to purchase an effectively brand new shell at a fraction of what they cost new and to build exactly to your desired specification.
Currently British Motor Heritage Limited retail these exact shells in primer finish for £10, 175 and the waiting list is currently several months! The shell is complete with all doors, bonnet and boot lid - exactly as it would be supplied by BMH today.
This particular shell has never been on the road, it had been painted and then left in storage waiting to be finished. It does require a full respray now as the current British Racing Green paint is worn, scratched and chipped in several places. You can still clearly see the original factory finish primer coating on the underside of the shell. To be honest, you'd still have to do the same amount of prep work with a brand new primed shell to get it to final paint stage.
It has been fitted with suspension and is in rolling condition (no engine) but has been fitted with a gearbox (condition unknown) and steering rack - so this is easy to move / roll on and off a trailer. It also has the side windows fitted.
