Presented in turquoise blue this D Type was manufactured in 1922 the last year of D Type production, before the introduction of the OD in 1923.
Purchased by the previous owner in 1968, this Edwardian-style fast tourer drives and handles beautifully. On file are various invoices totalling some £33, ooo relaying to work carried out in recent years by Arthur Archer. The engine which was upgrade to OD spec (OD block and head) believed a factory refit and retains its original crankcase. The clutch and transmission are smooth and tight while stopping power is via transmission brake and hand brake.
