Imported in 2016 from Texas by Kingdom Kustoms in Fife, full body strip out before respray in pearl white & kandy gold. Original running gear (V8 engine) auto box/ suspension & axle, interior seats re-upholstered sympathetic to match original door cards. Im second owner since the resto mod was carried out, previous owner also replaced interior carpet/ changed the four headlamps to halogen lamps/ electronic ign fitted/ alternator to cope with increase voltage demand/ Wilwood master cylinder/ booster & front disc/ pad/ caliper conversion. All body panels are very straight, chrome trims & glass are very good. Dash instruments all work apart from the clock! This year range Edsel was only in production for two months (sept-nov 1959) with a total of 2846 being made across all models, this four door sedan clocking up only 1288 on its own. Although the Edsel drives faultlessly there is a rear axle whine (bearings supplied in sale) & a front suspension squeak (again overhaul kit supplied in sale). I'm not in possession of any of the replaced items although i believe the shop in Scotland may still have the wheels? Thanks for looking, if any more info required please get in contact.
