This amazing car was sold new in the Philippines and remained there in the same family until the mid 1980’s. It was sold to Hong Kong, but shipped to the UK for restoration which took until 1995.
The current owner has owned and cherished the car for the last eight years. He told me once that when he was growing up the two things he really wanted in life was Marilyn Monroe and an Auburn Boat Tail Speedster.
It has formed part of a superb collection of pre and post war exotica and is now very reluctantly offered as part of a down sizing operation.
Recognised by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club as a Category 1 example.
