I've spoken to AutoHomes current owners and this is possibly 1 of only 4 left on the road, out of only around 25/ 30 ever built. Stand out from the crowd!
Sleeps 4, suited to 2 adults & 2 children.
On board water and gas.
12v lighting, twin batteries and
mains hook up.
Towbar and massive roof storage area.
Privacy tints all round.
Everything original and retro, clean tidy and working, some service history, old MOTs, and general paperwork.
One thing it hasn't got is power assisted steering - NO P. A. S!
The previous owner was local and owned it for 11 years and used it for holidays in Spain and Portugal and around the UK.
2. 5D, non turbo, no electronics, timing chain so no cam-belt worries. Interior in great condition and all original. The body work is scabby in places, mainly around the windows where the water channels down. Part of the fun of ownership is making it your own, so whether you want to live with it, roller it with Dulux, cover it in stickers or spend £5K on a Pro job, it's up to you.
Last MOT involved some welding as expected on a vehicle nearly 30 years old. This was completed, and more, including 2 front steps and battery box, to make sure that nothing was left untreated. Other than welding the only other fail was window wipers.
Having said the above it is a used 27 year old vehicle so expect the unexpected and you purchase as is.
Viewing is recommended and encouraged, however I appreciate that many buy 'blind' and I accept this, but you are the one taking the risk, with no refusal after sale.
My insurance runs out 0n 20th Sept but before then I'm happy to drive to the new owners or meet at J40 M6 (postcodes before purchase please as after a certain distance it would be cheaper to transport it).
Can't show more faith in it than that.
