1957 Innocenti Lambretta LD125 barn find project UK scooter
Very complete and original. This bike has been dry-stored. It is a full restoration project but is substantially all there. There’s bound to be a few bits missing and you are encouraged to come and view before buying. What you see in the images is what is included.
It’s a sensible price. A non-UK one sold in November 2018 for £2, 100 and it didn’t look as good as this one.
The engine is kicks over nicely. The original Dellorto carb is in a box, along with the Innocenti headlamp and the original speedometer.
The bike has the centre stand.
It has its glovebox lid although I don't have the key.
It also has the original levers and grips. The left lever is a bit shorter than it ought to be.
There is no substantial rust in the bodywork or floor although (as you can see) it has some rust on the RHS edge of the guard.
This is a really nice winter project. As far as I can ascertain, this is an originally-supplied UK bike. The registration plate shows “YHY 22”. However, it doesn’t show on the DVLA database. From past experience with the DVLA, they are very helpful. If you can provide a bit of evidence that the plate belonged to the bike, they usually let you have it back. No guarantee on this though. It’s out of my control!
There is no log book with the bike but I will provide a receipt.
Payment is by cash on collection.
The bike is in between Cambridge and St Neots. It is sold on the basis of collection from there. It may be possible to deliver. Please message me first.
