The Daimler / Jaguar XJ (X308) manufactured and marketed by Jaguar Cars between 1997-2003. It was the third and final evolution of the XJ40 platform which had been in production since 1986. The top-of-the-range Daimler marque featured softer suspension and all available luxury features. They are cosmetically differentiated by the traditional Daimler fluted radiator grille surround and fluted boot-lid plinth.
The Daimler models were also available with the supercharged engine and this model was named the Daimler Super V8. In the US market, this combination was available only as a special order though 2001.
Our example is freshly imported from Japan with just 55, 000 miles recorded. The flagship of the range with just about every extra including Picnic Tables, Traction control, CD autochanger, Console cup holder, Dynamic Stability Control (adaptive), Electrochromatic powerfold mirrors, Rear window Blind. Heated Rear SeatS, Cruise Control and much more...... Finished Dark Emerald Green, Doeskin Hide, Piping in Antelope with Sable carpets,
From time to time we hand pick a small number of Japanese import cars for our stock. To meet our exacting criteria, they will need to be exceptional examples, with low mileage and in mint condition. Prestige cars were, when originally sold in Japan, hugely expensive and tended to be bought by wealthy individuals who maintained them well. Moreover, because salt is not used on Japanese roads there is, in our experience and, on a like for like basis, significantly less corrosion.
