A 1959 Fordson Major in good working order ready to enjoy, just hop on and drive, ready for shows, work, vintage fairs, steam rally's, endless fun on a very desirable tractor for a reasonable asking price.
Starts very well with no help, it runs sweetly, just spot on. No judders or wobbles when moving along, steering well with nominal play, pulls like a train, very powerful machine that's good to drive.
Good clutch with no slip, all gears work as they should in hi & lo. Very sharp brakes and excellent handbrake. The PTO selects correctly. Hydraulics working well and smoothly. Complete with an original swinging draw bar.
Not currently road registered, no log book, we can help the buyer sort a log book if required by supplying full advise, links and forms provided.
Tyres have age cracks, but no slows or leaks, bit smoky when cold, clears when warmed up, odd drip of diesel and oil but as expected of a vintage tractor. Oil and water in right places and right colours.
Sensibly priced Major in good working order.
