1987 BMW E24 635 CSI AUTO
We are delighted to be able to offer this lovely e24 for sale having just arrived into stock this week. Finished in a classic combination of Royal Blue Metallic with a pearl beige leather interior.
It has covered 107k miles from new which is supported by a fantastic service history folder which includes all original owners manuals and an original service book also containing some 18 entries, it has been service by a well known BMW specialist within the last 500 miles. There is also a plethora of paperwork confirming just how mechanically good this vehicle really is. Over the last few years it has had significant expenditure, some of the highlights include:
12 months MOT with zero advisories
rear of both sills recently replaced
discs and pads changed all round
four new period correct Michelin TRX tyres (cost £1200)
new top suspension mounts
battery tray replaced
replace repeater lenses

This vehicle represents a great entry level car for any enthusiast to use and improve slightly. It has had a previous respray which in my opinion wants so minor parts correcting to make perfect. All of the panels are very straight and have been prepared correctly and the paintwork is very good overall but the roof ideally wants painting again as there is a blemish in the paint a few inches away from the roof panel (I have taken an image of this which I can share with any interested parties but is only quite small.) There are two chrome trims (one front and one rear) on the bumpers that have some surface corrosion and require replacement.
As you can see from the photographs the car is very clean indeed under the bonnet and presents very well.
The interior is extremely original and the dashboard and plastics are the best I have ever seen in an E24 with no cracking whatsoever. The leather seats have discoloured and cracked a little so will require full reconnolsatifon (I have a company who can undertake this for £500 inclusive) All four electric windows work perfectly well, as does the air conditioning and all other interior controls, there are no warning lights displayed.
I also have 2 sets of the correct period cross spoke alloy wheels (from a highline) that are available by separate negotiation, 1 set has tyres the other does not. These wheels in my opinion would finish the vehicle off .
