We are delighted to present for sale this rebuilt Series 3, in rare Light Pastel Green colour configuration. It is not often we see a rebuilt vehicle in such a high specification – so read on!
Externally, this vehicle really looks the part – it is evident that it has benefitted from a full respray in times past and it has a nice gloss paint finish, far superior to the majority we see. There are lots of features one would hope to see such as the bonnet mounted spare, larger door-mounted mirrors to aid visibility, rear grab handles, side steps for easier cabin access, towbar and electrics to allow towing and 750 tyres. A recent front bumper completes the look, along with the sliding rear windows for the passengers travelling in the rear – a nice touch. This creates, in our opinion, a vehicle which is very pleasing on the eye, and it is great to see she looks as good on top as she does underneath!
The interior houses three deluxe seats in the front, with twin benches to the rear. This gives room for seven seated, including the driver. Deluxe matting is fitted throughout. Rear sliding windows give additional light into the cabin and give the feeling of a station wagon. A rear load mat is fitted to protect the floor against scratches and dents.
Out on the road, this vehicle drives just as it should – the recent exhaust gives a pleasant raspy tone, and the 750 cross-climate tyres give a good balance between on and off road ability. It drives just as it should, delivering a pleasing driving experience, and turns heads wherever it roams! Looking under the bonnet, it is evident the engine has also had some attention and TLC, with shiny new bolts and a new rocker cover – which is good to see.
