having had 3 careful owners since its first registration in 1983, and covering 73k miles, this ultra-rare and very cool Accord is not only a survivor, it is in overall truly outstanding original condition.
The metallic silver paint is fresh and the bodywork is completely blemish and rust free. All bumpers and trim are fantastic and the underside is just as good, too, having been regularly wax oiled throughout its life.
The interior is a time warp with the dash, seats and carpets all in perfect condition. Even the period Blaupunkt radio still sounds superb!
The peppy 1. 6 engine and the car feels tight with no knocks or clunks, and the Hondamatic gearbox (driveable as an automatic or semi-automatic) works faultlessly.
The massive history file that comes with the car contains decades of invoices, receipts, MOT certs and the original bill of sale.
