Description
A 4ftx2ft (122cmx61cm) section taken from the wall of the General Office at BRM works at Bourne in 1981, inscribed with the firing order of the V16 engine.
In 1948 the General Office was used as an engine build shop, the firing order for the complex 16 cylinder engine was inscribed on the wall as the engine assemblers were constantly forgetting the correct order.
Mounted in a glass fronted wall display case showing a little of the office decor of that period.
A real piece of BRM history.
