A very appealing little car, in excellent condition and full of impish character. We understand the ‘Grand Luxe’ version with sunroof to be rare, and certainly letting in light and air is a desirable feature. In 1989, the car successfully completed the Italian Mille Miglia, finishing in 41st place, out of a field of 315 starters. This is confirmed and documented in a book on the subject which is included with the car. Much more recently, it competed in the 2015 Monte Pellegrino and the 2015 Silver Flag. Wonderfully sound throughout and the underside needs to be seen to be believed, being very sound and clean, with no rust issues at all. The apparent splits in the seats are in fact in the fitted covers, which could be easily removed to reveal what appears to be the original cloth upholstery underneath, seemingly in good condition. A charming car. UK registered, but also with Italian papers, running very sweetly.
