We are reluctantly having to sell “berty” our bedford mk-mj.
“berty” is a 1986 ex-territorial army (ta) truck assigned to the royal signals regiment with an original 36, 000 miles. We purchased him approximately years ago to use to transport student to drop off and collection points on a private country estate for our survival school, which unfortunately due to current climate is no longer trading.
“berty” was regularly serviced whilst in ta and we have continued to service him in that way. He is in excellent condition, and never fails to start every time off the button. Brakes are excellent, and everything works as it should. The bodywork is very good as is the canvas tilt. The original fold up seating in the rear for approx 30 people plus kits.
when “berty” has not been in use, he has always been dry stored in a dutch barn.
