Here is an opportunity to buy a lovely P4 95 with the advantage of overdrive. As I’m sure you all know, the 95 was re-geared for economy so with added overdrive in 4th it makes for a great cruising car, happily smoothing along at 65mph on the open road.
She starts on the button and is a beauty to drive, when you pull up at a junction you cannot hear the engine ticking over.
The body is in great order having had a good respray 3 and a half years ago, the chrome work and interior are both very good and she’s solid underneath.
Just had two new tyres on the front (excellent on the rear), plugs, points and oil and filter change.
I bought this lovely car a little while ago, drove it 60 miles home and have driven it most days since without missing a beat.
I’ve put a good deal of work into bringing this car back to its best, including new door rubbers, re connolising the leather and detailing the rest of the interior.
I’m nearing the end of an engine rebuild on my 100 and cannot keep both classic P4’s due to family circumstances, so sadly I have to let this one go.
This car was featured on the front covers of “The Classic Rovers Guide 1934-1977”, P4 Drivers Guild 1983 yearbook and comes with a huge catalogue of history including receipts, letters, photos, written drivers logs, owners handbook and much memorabilia. Also the original radio works, albeit with limited choice of programs !
