Welcome to our MX-5, finished in Evolution Orange. Unfortunately its time to sell as we are moving house and there's nowhere to keep her.
Our car is a 2001 1. 8S. She has had two previous owners and only covered 59, 513 miles, has an MOT until mid-December this year and is complete with a fully stamped service history; I even have service invoices covering almost its entire history. We have owned her for 6 years and she has been garaged since then.
Being 20 years old our car isn't perfect but she's an original and honest little car. Four new Goodyear tyres were fitted in 2014 have covered a little over 5, 000 miles since being fitted. The timing belt and water pump were replaced in 2014 at 54, 718 miles and the front discs were replaced last year. We also had the rear sills replaced by CBS Autos, an MX-5 specialist in 2015. The hood is in great condition and still has its original tonneau cover.
On the downside the engine bay is dirty and there is some minor dents and cuts on the interior door cards and on the inside of the quarter glass frame of the nearside door. Externally there are a few minor scratches on the paintwork plus some stone chips and the body-colour plastic mirror covers have faded .
Everything works with the exception of the nearside electric door mirror and the car is fitted with a Kenwood aftermarket radio/ CD player with USB input.
Overall I would consider the car to be in good condition for its age.
The car is available immediately and I would be willing to deliver it if you covered the cost of fuel and the return train ticket.
