Discovered in a private collection in Italy, this 1948 Moto Guzzi Ercole 500 was unused and had been stored from new, needing re-awakening,
Powered by the traditional Guzzi single cylinder external flywheel engine, it now has a rebuilt and rewound magneto, engine has been checked, new tires and brakes, carb rebuilt, it now starts easily and runs superbly and ideal for a promotional vehicle or a load hauler as designed.
Currently set up for selling Italian Gelato at classic car and boat events, has been used by Porsche UK, The McAlpine family events and some music events.
The Gelato unit can be easily removed leaving the original bed.
Some spares including a rare petrol tank and carb will be included in the sale.
Also includes tow hitch to tow behind a car.
These are super rare in the UK, and any for sale are usually heavily used and abused, this one has had zero use from new and just needed recommissioning, it is still in original paint and engine finishes!
Will need registering for the road, an ideal tool for visiting the pub when allowed to!
We have a dating certificate from the UK Moto Guzzi club also all documents required to enable UK registration, also manual and other literature.
