With us here at RJH Cars we are pleased to offer this great looking 1976 MG Midget 1500 finished in the bright red. The car has been the subjected to extensive body restoration and recently had new carpets fitted and although not a concourse car it is very clean both inside and out and will make a great entry level classic car for someone. The 1500 Midget with it's distinctive Black Rubber bumpers was introduced in 1974 in order to the USA's regulations and along with these bumper change came an increased ride height for the car. To deal with the increased ride heights affect on the handling, anti-roll bars were added to help with the higher centre of gravity. The original A-Series engine was replaced by the 1493 cc as fitted to this car coupled to a 4 speed gearbox with synchromesh on all four gears increasing the torque the engine produced.
