This TR5/ 250 has had a full no expense spared restoration with a complete new body and an engine upgrade by renowned specialist John Noble from Chesterfield. With papers including descriptions of mechanical works and parts, this is as good a TR as we have seen.
Originally from the U. S, this car’s restoration was completed only recently and looks like new with quality fittings and an attention to detail. The better looking soft-top targa/ Surrey Top makes this a really special Triumph. Add to this the fearsome triple pack of twin-choke webers and this car goes as well as it looks.
The restoration was carried out by the registered keeper, who is a professional car restorer. The quality of the work is apparent and would stand up against any inspection. Though it has not been forthcoming, we were told by the owner that this has a heritage certificate which can be applied for.
