The time has come to sell this amazing example of a 90's sports car. Very rare to see them on the road and for sale nowadays. The car has been in the family since 1997 and has been garaged for most of it's life. It's had no accidents and has never been driven hard. All original body panels, paint and interior upholstery. There has been welding needed in places you would expect over the years, the sills, wheel arches, chassis and seatbelt mounts. All work has been carried out by professional mechanics. The latest finish of the bodywork isn't showroom quality but it's good enough to protect the metal underneath. The paintwork is now starting to show its age on a couple of panels and the stripe decals are easily removed.

In 2019, the car went in to a garage for a full engine rebuild (CA18DET). It also had the following;
New brake discs all round
Brake callipers rebuilt and powder-coated
Braided Brake lines all round
New front wheel bearings
New rear wheel bearing (not installed but will come with the sale of the car)
New water pump installed
New Mishimoto aluminium radiator installed
Momo 17" alloy wheels powder-coated

During the engine rebuild, the clutch was not changed as it was deemed to be almost new. I remember having it changed a few years ago and as it's been a 2nd car, it has rarely been driven. Unfortunately, I don't have the paperwork to show the exact mileage of when it was changed (typically, it's the only invoice I am missing). A new turbo was installed in 2016.

Over the last 5 years or so, I have modified the car. The original steering wheel and gear knob needed replacing and were replaced with aftermarket ones. The engine has been tuned to Stage One specification. This includes;
Horsham Developments Stage One ECU Chip
Uprated Fuel Pump
K&N Air Filter
Stainless Steel Catback exhaust
Short shifter
Dump Valve
Other modifications include an aftermarket rear spoiler, tinted rear glass and aftermarket rear lights. Every modification is UK road legal.

I also had remote central locking professionally installed which includes an immobiliser. The stereo system was upgraded at the same time.

As with all classic cars nearly 30 years old, there are some bad bits. I have noticed a small amount of water sitting in the spare wheel well. I haven't been able to find out where it is leaking from. The speedometer has very recently decided not to work. I had the clocks sent off for repair when the engine was being rebuilt and I have also replaced the speed sensor gear but neither has solved the problem. It probably needs a new speed sensor unit. Lastly, the struts on the boot lid struggle to keep the boot open.

The car comes with a brand new MOT (renewal 10/ 12/ 21). Only 1 advisory for a tyre which will be changed before sale.
2 keys and immobiliser fobs.
Log book and Owners Manual
Brand new rear wheel bearings (boxed)
Brand new brake discs (front and rear)
Full history of MOTs and other work invoices from over the years.

Cars like this don't come around too often now and I was hoping to take it shows this year, but with the pandemic this wasn't able to happen. I am selling the car to help towards a house deposit.

I am willing to accept sensible offers.

Thanks for reading.
