If so-called "Patina" is your thing, then this car has it by the shed load. Having survived a long (84 years) and obviously active life, this survivor bears all the scars of that life with dignity, but is remarkably free of rust. Just arrived in the UK, the car starts, runs, stops (hydraulic brakes) and drives really well. It has the 113 h. p straight eight, 4. 2 litre engine which pulls like a train! A UK road test of the standard eight in 1936 recorded a top speed of 86mph and a 0-60 time of 15 seconds. 1936 was the last year for suicide front doors, and the car has a number of other quirky features like swivelling and retracting quarter lights, rear roller blind and wind down rear side windows. All it's badges and trims are there and in great condition. The engine has been rebuilt and upgraded, and the running gear overhauled as this car, believe it or not, was daily transport for it's last owner! Such an original solid unmolested example is hard to find, and even the older repaint, which is rather dull, does not detract from the striking appearance of the car.
