Just returned to the road having been garaged since possibly the mid 2000's. A very solid and un-messed with example with just 69, 000 from new.
Supplied new to the 'Worldwide Church Of God', this 240 has a fully stamped service record, and all but one were at Main Dealer, Pilling Volvo, Milton Keynes. The last main dealer service being at 60k miles. Included in the glovebox wallet are details confirming its PDI with just 11 miles on the clock. Subsequently documented are its first service and further Main Dealer intermediate services up to 60k miles with just its 48k mile service being non main dealer
It has just been serviced at 69k and has had all new brake flexi hoses, new front brake pads, new radiator, plugs, oil/ filter, air filter, recon clutch master cylinder, new clutch, new water pump, new belts, new alternator, New fuel sender and lift pump & 4 x new anti tramp bar bushes. New wiper blades.
The cloth interior, carpets, door cards and headliner are all in very good condition, commensurate with the low mileage indicated. It has its original 4 x Volvo rubber trays in each footwell. It also still has its original Volvo radio/ cassette player which is in working order. The heated seats still work as does the central locking.
MOT to December 2021 with no advisories.
The underside is as solid and original as you could hope to find, having never had any signs of welding, and it certainly doesn't need any either, still with its factory coating underneath.
