This lovely Ultra Low mileage Yamaha XS250 is in excellent condition considering its 41 years old, the petrol tank, side panels & seat trims have been re painted & as such are unblemished.. The forks have been hard chromed & returned better than new by Phillpotts, the fork seals & oil were replaced & has a new battery in 2020. The chrome is in good condition & does polish up well. The frame is in excellent condition with no rust, this motorcycle is perfectly rideable & looks fantastic. The Yamaha is showing 1240 miles & i am confident that the mileage is correct going on the information supplied by the previous owner & by the last 20yrs MOT Pass certificates. The engine pulls smoothly & the 6 speed gearbox is a pleasure to use. The rear drum & front disc brake work as they should, as do all the electrical instruments, the electric start & kick start work faultlessly & starts first time.
This motorcycle was originally bought from new & owned by a chap who unfortunately developed M. S. so the bike sat in his lounge for decades. A professional fully insured motorcycle courier service can be provided at buyers cost £1 a mile one way.
