The RX-7 Spirit-R Type-A is not only the best and last RX-7 to come out of the Hiroshima factory, it’s widely considered to be the best looking sports car to come out of Japan. Due to their rarity and the new US demand for these, they gained a cult following and prices are rising at an incredible rate. Therefore, the market believes the Spirit-R Type-A will be a great investment for future years. With only 1000 Type-A’s built, Fairmont are pleased to offer one of the very few that makes it to the UK.
These cars are extremely difficult to source, especially in the most popular and exclusive ‘Titanium Grey’. When we found this one it presented exceptionally well and being from a warmer region in Japan it preserved much of the car, but it did create some fading to the paintwork and to the seats. However, with no areas of corrosion and the general condition of the car being such a high standard, we decided to have a strip back shell full body respray, as well as having the seats re-trimmed by a Recaro specialist and the alloy wheels refurbished. As a result of our efforts, the car today looks like new.
The odometer shows it has covered just 64, 000 miles and all of the components reflect this very low mileage. The car is currently in the process of being UK registered and will be quickly snapped up.
