South African manufactured Big Window T3 (T25) 2. 3i 5 Cylinder Microbus (Caravelle).
For sale here in excellent condition and completely rust free and presented in this high gloss White.
The vehicle was sourced from a trusted VW expert in SA and imported by us. The reason, I love these buses and the rot of European vehicles and the steering wheel being on the wrong side is just not good enough. Also, in South Africa these buses were made until 2002 where Europe stopped in 1992. In SA they used bigger and better Audi derived engines which are quieter, smoother and much more powerful than the small diesel and petrol engines available in Europe.
I have been using this van for a few weeks now and it starts, drives and stops without fault. It has been serviced, a new alarm fitted so the central locking works on a fob.
The current layout is 3 rows of seats, seating 8 comfortably. The rear seat goes completely flat so with a mattress (not supplied but readily available) makes a massive bed. There is also the standard aircon which runs along the roof and works without fault.
This van is designed as a day bus but can easily be converted as you wish. I'm 6ft 4 so i really like the massive bed and then use a driveaway owning for the camping bits.
These vans, especially in this condition are becoming very rare, even in South Africa. It is 23 years old so will require looking after but well looked after, this vehicle will only increase in value.
