TOYOTA CELICA 2. 0 GT ST-202
This has been my daily car since late 2016 when I bought it showing 114k miles. Since then I have enjoyed 30K+ trouble-free miles in this great ST-202 Celica GT.
MODEL HISTORY
The ST-202 Toyota Celica GT was produced from 1994 to 2000. It's a front-wheel drive front-engine sports coupé with 2 doors & 4 seats. With 173 BHP, the naturally aspirated 2 Litre 16v Inline 4 petrol engine accelerates this Celica GT to 62 mph in 8. 2 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 139 mph. Having a kerb weight of 1200 kg, it achieves 34. 4 mpg on average and can travel 454 miles before requiring a refill of its 60 litre capacity fuel tank. It comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Luggage space is 283 litres, but can be expanded to 593 litres for larger loads, with a maximum payload capacity of 410 kg. Known for its 'bullet-proof' 2-litre, twin-cam engine and its sure-footed handling, these cars have an illustrious rally pedigree.
IMPRESSIONS OF THIS CAR
No, it is by no means a trailer queen! It is well used and shows cosmetic aging to its older repaint. Finished in Silver with black trim, it retains its original radio and 6-disc CD player.
Being my daily driver, I have kept it serviced regardless of cost and have just had it fully serviced by Westbourne Motors prior to putting it up for sale. It has recently also benefitted from 2 x new tyres.
Everything works, electric aerial, electric door mirrors. Electric sunroof. 2xToyota keys.
MOT tested until October 2021.
This car is totally standard throughout and has not been 'got at' with ill-conceived modifications.
Mileage currently stands at 145475 and will probably increase with use.
Reason for sale: I have just purchased x2 Japanese market models to play with!
