- As the story goes, our Corvette was born with a 427/ 435 hp L71 engine with a 4 speed transmission.
- Somewhere along the way, an owner added nitrous and blew the engine drag racing.
-Rather than repairing the car, it was traded to a South Florida Corvette emporium.
- The last owner walked into the dealer years back ago looking for a Tri-Carb Big Block mid-year roadster to run some errands and drive to the marina.
- He wanted A/ C, automatic transmission, power steering, headers, and a nice looking car.
- The dealer didn't have the car he was looking for but a deal was made to refurbish this car to his criteria.
- A Tri-Carb Big Block was sourced and matched to a powerglide transmission.
- Vintage A/ C was added as was power steering.
- A large aluminum radiator was fit along with an electronic cooling fan.
- The result was the raddest Corvette driver in the Fort Lauderdale area.
- There's more to a Corvette than matching numbers... An evening drive to the beach with the top down is one.
