Suzuki gsx250, just been returned to use after many years in storage. Showing a recorded mileage of 15340. V5 present, it was registered on 23. 4. 80 so now eligible as vehicle of historic interest. Totally original other than 2 into 1 after market exhaust system.
Engine has been serviced with new oil and filter. Bottom end gaskets and oil seals renewed. New brake fluid, brake shoes and battery.
Original paint generally ok with a few stone marks and rust marks on the tank but it is totally dent free and with no internal corrosion. The tyres have no sidewall cracks, the front has reasonable tread and the back good tread. All chromed metalwork is structurally sound but the front mudguard and handlebars are in a shabby cosmetic condition and the exhaust has been painted matt black because of poor chrome. The silencer has rotted through but i have replaced it with one i had in my garage.
For sale as a mainly cosmetic project, the bike is ready to use as is if you do not mind some scruffy chrome or it would be a very easy cost effective restoration back to showroom condition.
