A rare opportunity to acquire a Blackjack Zero designed by Richard Oakes of
Blackjack trikes.
Chassis number 16 of 20 made. First registered for road use in September 2020 and is fully taxed and insured.
I am the second owner of this car, I bought it as an unfinished project and spent two years rebuilding it from the chassis up.
The body has been stripped and professionally resprayed.
The 1100cc Moto Guzzi Californian engine dates from the late 1990’s. It has been stripped down, the engine casings, barrels and heads have been vapor blasted and peen finished, so the engine has a natural polished finish (no paint to peel off). The heads have been fitted with new valves and guides, with polished rocker covers. On this car, if it can be polished, it more than likely has been!
It is fitted with a Weber DCOE 40 carb, polished stainless steel inlet manifold with a K&N air filter. The ignition system is a ZDG3 by Volker Sachse for Guzzi V twins.
The exhaust is stainless steel.
The front wheels are driven by a VW Beetle gearbox that has been stripped and rebuilt by Bears Motorsport of Birmingham and is a 4 speed + reverse unit with a 4. 125 final drive. Tyres are 205/ 40 R17 on Lenso Samurai super light RT rims. (There is a 4th rim that will come with the car, no tyre fitted). All wheels have disc brakes with Hispec four pot calibers on the front.
The dash is made from a carbon fiber panel, with a switch layout designed by myself, all the gauges are by ETB instruments

The car at the time of writing has one mile on the clock, I run the engine on a regular basis, it has about 20 + hours on it so far, there is also a fitted battery charger/ conditioner, to keep the battery fully topped up for those on the spur of the moment fair-weather drives
The car now has 65 miles on the clock, the weather has been too good to leave it in the garage, it drives beautifully so the milage could well change if the sun keeps shining
The car comes with tonneau cover and detachable fly screen.
