Introduced in 1959, the NSU Sport Prinz coupe made an impression with the elegance of its design, thanks to Franco Scaglione, designing for Bertone. Its NSU mechanicals, a vertical twin-cylinder 598cc with overhead camshaft, was very innovative, giving this car a good turn of speed and agility.
The car on offer was purchased new in 1963 by its first owner who lived at one end of the golf course at Saint Tropez. He kept it until 2011, the year of its purchase by the current owner. The latter was won over by the vehicle's exceptional state of preservation: its paint, a pretty blue, is largely original, and the bodywork is generally sound. It has not been driven much, so its odometer now shows less than 23, 500 km. The upholstery is original, well preserved, only the driver's seat has been restored, retaining the original fabric. An invoice folder, with many of the original stickers, as well as the technical review will be delivered with the car. In good working order, this charming little coupe is not common on our roads and its beautiful patina will only reinforce the appreciation of this fine classic.
