Although not many miles were covered by the previous owner, under his tenure of 9 years, the car was driven regularly and pampered in his heated garage. The condition of the bodywork and engine bay are testimate to the fastidious care of this vehicle.
The previous owner also added a stainless steel exhaust with a sports cat (MX5Parts) and also added a well-appointed chrome roll hoops that work really well with the chrome fuel filler cap.
In addition to the standard high spec Icon (Torsen diff) equipment, this comes with a Clifford alarm system, matching factory hard top (with storage bag), windbreak and tan tonneau cover.
Only (advisor in 2018) area of concern on this extremely clean car was dealt with by previous owner. Offside sill was fully restored by MX5 Restorer in 2018 and chassis rail also got a clean bill of health from the MX-5 specialist garage too after applying wax to the rail cavity.
Replacements in the last 1000 miles have included cambelt and tensioner etc., power steering and alternator belts, as well as new disks and pads all round.
The work I’ve carried out during my ownership is as follows:
o Complete suspension refresh, new KYB dampers and Coils springs as advised by members on MX-5 OC.
o New Hankook Ventus Prime3 tyres fitted all round.
o New Exedy 3 Piece Clutch fitted, mistake as original was in perfect condition.
o New disks and brakes pads all around (less than 1, 000 miles driven since).
o Full Wheel Alignment and all fluids changed.
