Electric scooters from Niu began as a start-up in 2015 and they are certainly leading the way. This fabulous electric machine with a unique futuristic design has 3 levels of power as opposed to gears and can speed up to 30mph and easily passes the uphill test even with a pillion passenger. The estimated range is impressive and ranges between 50-80kms (32miles-50miles). It has double disc brakes, so you can be assured of easy braking. The NIU N-Series is using state of the art lithium-ion battery packs by Panasonic with a three year guarantee on the battery and a two year guarantee on the bike itself. This very clever machine monitors the electricity demand and powers the Bosch motor very effectively. Weighing in at only 10kg (22lbs.), you can easily carry the NIU battery for in-home/ office re-charging. The 29aH battery pack is fully re-charged in six hours and the scooter offers zero emissions with 1200w power outlet. The MoT is not due until 12th September 2022. Road tax is only £21 per annum.
Under the seat is a spacious compartment considering how compact this scooter is and this can house essentials such a helmet etc. The scooter comes complete with its outdoor Oxford Aquatex cover. It is also fitted with factory alarm and tracker via the app, LED lights, LCD dashboard and spare keys.
