The car is a rare model with a very unique trim that I have not seen for many years in the UK.
Apparently less than a couple of dozens of them are left on the island.

It is an excellent car that runs smoothly and starts always first time. It has MOT (only one advisory) until March 2022
No rust
No corrosion
In the past year I spent £1500+ on the car changing several parts and maintaining everything I could even knowing that ULEZ is coming
The following happened in the past year :
timing belt and V-belts changed (271. 000 miles)
new lambda sensor (September 2020)
new inlet gasket (June 2020)
fuel injection ECU remanufactured (lifetime warranty included - July 2020)
new battery (May 2020)
4 new all year-round tyres (August 2020)
several fuel and air hoses replaced
all fluids topped up
new steering column (February 2021)
oil change (April 2021)
oil filter (April 2021)
fuel and air filter (July 2020)
mid exhaust part replaced (June 2020)
for all the above (and some more) I have receipts and the work has been carried out in Volvo specialists with good reputation.
the exterior is in very good condition with minor scuffs and marks
the dashboard is like new
the rear seats are in very good condition as is the overall state of the interior
the roof lining is intact and it does not hang
all electrical windows work as they should
heated seats
warm/ cold air works too
heated mirrors and rear window
the gearbox is smooth and faultless
original cassette and radio player (working)
the negatives :
- piston knock from previous ownership. I would have refurbished the pistons but because of ULEZ I couldn't spend more money. the performance is not affected. I did 13000 happy and powerful miles with the knocking noise without issues.
- front seats are teared. not crazily but they are not in very good condition
- A/ C needs gasing
- sunroof headlining gasket is missing. I temporarily protected the sunroof from leaking without using silicone or doing any silly permanent intervention.
I have travelled many places and long distances with it without any problems.
It is by far the most comfortable car I've driven even after 31 years.
