1968 austin mini cooper s mk2 1275cc - the rarest of all mini coopers.
in immaculate original condition, all original numbers and heritage certificate.
the cooper s mk2 is the rarest of all the mini coopers with a production run of only 6, 300 cars compared to 19, 000 mki's. This fine example was manufactured on the 4th of july 1968. it was dispatched from the factory on the 8th of july and was sold by mann edgerton cars of wimbledon.
i purchased this car six years ago after it had undergone a full nut and bolt rebuild (full details of specific full rebuild details and before pictures can be provided on request, i have a full file of all expenditure, photos and invoices which will be passed on to the purchaser). since that time it has been garaged with no more than 200 miles on a fully rebuilt engine.
this car in perfect concours condition and any genuine inspection is welcomed.
as well as the original steel cooper s wheels the car also comes with a set of 10" minilights and yoko tyres as shown. It also comes with a specialist made internal red cover with a mini cooper logo.
it also comes with a very unique original number plate.
