Descrizione
2001 Vauxhall Omega MV6. 3. 2 V6 Automatic. Satin Red with Anthracite leather interior trim. Heated front seats, Xenon lights, fully functioning climate control, cruise control and parking sensors. 76, 000 miles from new. Next MOT due April 2022. An Irmscher grille with colour coded surround is fitted, and all badges have been deleted.
The MV6 was the sportiest of the Omega B range, taking over from the revered Carlton GSi and Senator 24v. The MV6 was lighter than the top of the range Elite, without the sunroof and troublesome self-levelling rear suspension and was fitted with lowered springs, Sachs dampers and Prodrive manufactured front bumper and rear spoiler. The MV6 is very much more of a driver’s car and the automatic gearbox has a sports mode for faster changes and higher rpm gear shift point.
Recaro heated front seats with adjustable bolsters make it a very relaxed long distance mile-eater, which is why they were popular with Police and security services in their day.
This car was previously owned by the Chairman of a Vauxhall dealership, and currently is cared for by Vauxhall specialists Agamemnon (- details above) and used by them for displaying at classic car shows. Recent work includes the replacement of timing belts and pulleys, as well as fitting of a new Air conditioning compressor, drier and condenser. All fluids including filters for the engine and transmission were changed at the same time along with the oil/ water heat exchanger. New Uniroyal tyres were fitted on refurbished alloys less than 1000miles ago. Brake discs and pads were replaced at the same time with genuine parts used where possible. The MOT history shows how well looked after this particular car has been compared to others. This a genuine opportunity for someone to enjoy modern classic ownership, with the possibility of future appreciation in prices of these underrated cars gives it very real investment potential. The number plate Y11 VXL is included in the price shown.
This is a reluctant sale due to a lack of space and needing to get the next project underway
