I have invoices and bills for replacement parts and the work which has been carried out at workshops. The oil and oil filter has been replaced each year by myself.
Paint & Bodywork
Inevitably after nearly 30 years there has been a requirement for some paint and bodywork to be carried out. Below is an overview of the paint and bodywork work carried out. I have pictures to support these repairs.
2014
• Bonnet painted – due to break in the lacquer in centre of the bonnet
• NSR Wheel arch – small amount of rust. As the NSR arch was being painted and the NSF door would benefit from painting the whole NS of the car was painted – NSF Wing – NSF Door – NSR Door – NS ¼ Panel
• The Tailgate suffered from corrosion at the drain whole near the lock, this was repaired and the whole tailgate was re-painted with a new black window surround transfer fitted
2021
In February 2021 the following repairs were carried out costing in excess of £2, 000
• Repairs were carried out to the N/ S & O/ S sills, new clips for sill trims both sides
• New Battery Tray fitted and painted
• OSF Door lower removal of rust blister and painted
• Repairs to rear wheel arches both sides
• Repaired floor under drivers footwell
• Repairs to rear valance, both sides
• Fitted 3 x new fuel strap’s
• All wheel arch trims correctly refitted and securely attached
Please have in mind that this is a 29-year-old car which has been much loved, always receives admiring looks and very favorable feedback. It is not a concourse car or a museum exhibit. There is age-related wear and tear, marks, stone chips, nicks & dings etc.
