I think this car is also referred to as “The Final Minx”.
Maybe this car should be described as “ for further restoration” or “ Project “. However , it is a good useable classic in its present condition. Either way it has definitely been saved and is a real survivor from the 60’s. Since having to retire early I have saved a good few classics . I don’t try to go down the concourse route as to be honest I only like the welding, oily and greasy bits of a restoration. This one has not turned out bad at all , but it now deserves a new owner to pamper it just that bit more.
It has had a lot of work , time and money spent on it recently and is now ready for use with just about everything working fine. The paint work is quite honestly very poor as it has just had a quick rattle can job without spending hours and hours of proper preparation. After saying that anyone with the determination wont find it too difficult to re prep and have a professional re spray if so inclined. It looks better in the photos than it is but its acceptable for immediate use.
Runs, stops and drives as it should. The main thing that still does not work is the heater as the valve is broken . However the fan does work and im 99. 9% sure that the matrix is in good order as I did flush the system while the pipes were still connected and valve was undisturbed. The dash is cracked in two places. The interior light does not work. It has had all fluids changed although I ran out of antifreeze so that needs doing before the winter. Fuel tank replaced no rust inside. All gauges work. All lights work. Tyres replaced and all good . Black stain on rear seat ( cant shift it ). Door cards worn on the top parts but no nasty rips or tears.
Not much more to say really , except viewing is essential to be sure of what you would be buying.
Very confident the car would drive you home so no need to arrange transport .
