Vehicle history:
In 2006 a Düsseldorf entrepreneur ordered this Ford GT from the 3-C Canadian Car Company. Today, still with the same owner and completely serviced with just 8, 500 miles, this is an absolutely exceptional vehicle.
Ford produced a total of 4, 038 vehicles. 101 of these were destined for the European market at a price of 177, 000 euros each.
At NAIAS in 2002 Ford presented the GT40 Concept Car, which was a new edition of the Le Mans racing car Ford GT40 built from 1964 to 1968. The concept vehicle was part of the "Living Legends" series, in which Ford revived earlier models such as the Thunderbird and the Mustang. Up until the brand's 100th anniversary in June 2003, the team developed a series model from the GT40 concept car in 16 months.
Modern technology was used under the body, which had not changed much in appearance. In the new model, the suffix "40" was dispensed with, which in the 1964 vehicle was reduced to a vehicle height of 40 inches. The new GT is 43 inches high.
