Beschreibung
The history of this car is document from new and includes its original sales sheets, GM letters, 1972 import papers, key fob, manual etc.
Purchased new in New York in January 1971 by Sir Simon Conran Hamilton Watson (6th Baronet of Earnock) shipped back to the UK in 1972.
This is all matching number 307. Approx. 65k on the clock. Highly optioned a car fitted with: a Turbo-Hydra 350 transmission, power steering, tinted glass, electric windows, air con, factory radio. This car has never be welded and retains its original floors. Original interior trim, seats, door cards and dash are all in excellent condition. Before I acquired the car, previous owners had fitted: a new headlining carpet, front brake discs, new front and rear air shocks, new anti-roll bushes and links, suspension body mounts, new dual exhaust and a Holley carb. I have recently fitted new front disc pads, brake hoses and a battery.
In the late '90s the car received a full bare metal respray and still looks great today; some micro blistering is present on a couple of panels but they do not detract- this isn't car is not trailer queen. During my tenure, 18 months ago the car has received a front end respray that includes: drain panel at the base of the screen, both wing tops, bonnet, front grille insert and its nearside front wing. Happy to share detailed pictures and a walk-around film to serious enquiries. Its original steering, carb, manifold and drums are all present too should you wish to a pure 'stock' car.
A vehicle inspection is recommended (and by arrangement). The price asked reflects its condition. Payment by bank transfer only with collection arranged following the clearance of funds. No Paypal thanks.
